Well I don't know if you're counting, but it's been a while since I wrote anything. I'd rant about how little leisure time I have in this fast lane, but that'd be redundant.
On Mondays, my life roughly starts at 11 (if I'm being lazy) though I might be in the labs earlier. Lately I've been there often, usually doing my stuff all alone with only the sound of the power supply unit feeding my circuit for the team project. Somehow, that sound is what rings in my head before I go to sleep at night. Then there's also some minor geek stuff like almost blowing up a 9V battery because I shorted it with the power supply and burnt a few LEDs because I accidentally connected them without current-limiting resistors. All is usual. I'd like to blow up an inductor and see what it does... (I've seen one in the labs, but I wasn't the one who did it.)
Since I'm pretty occupied with things my memory becomes short-term. Sometimes I don't remember what happen in the morning, in the afternoon; whatnot in the days before. Your brain's supposed to be trained when you remember stuff to do, but mine goes the opposite way. Most days I go to sleep with every energy sucked out of me only to wake up to a haze, trying to remember what day it is and what I'm supposed to do. I sleep so well when I'm tired that it feels like my feet's not on the ground anymore when I wake up. There was a firedrill at 5am yesterday, but both my roommate and I did not wake up to the fire alarm. In fact, the whole house slept through it. Together we burn..!
The weather has been crazy for the past 2-3 days. The day started out fine, but when night falls the rain starts to pour. I actually love it when it rains. But then yesterday, we had a gift of a gloomy Sunday which, is the day I decided to do some laundry. Well, I didn't expect the rain to pour throughout the day but in exchange for the comforting temperature, I'd rather be shirtless. Heh. My laundry's still drying outside.
