Warm December

It's been raining a lot in Kuching.. it's that time again! The monsoon season at year-end. I've always wondered why people become sad or depressed in December? I agree that it's really hard to be active and be happy in cold or wet weather. I don't like going out when it's raining and cold either. I prefer to stay in bed and get myself warm under my favourite blanket. I was watching KBS Music Station (Korean music programme) and all the songs are love ballads that sound so sad even though I can't understand what they say. So I guess winter is time for love? Or no more love?

My 2009 resolutions have gone down the drain, just like the past years. I hate keeping resolutions or lists because it feels like I have to live by them. I hate rules because they restrict my life. I said I'm going to read at least 10 non-academic books, but I've only finished 4. I simply don't have the time or I'm just too stubborn to live by targets or I'm too occupied with the wonders of the internet. Now that I've spent a good 5-6 months away from uni, my brain becomes rusty due to lack of stimulation. Not that I'm saying my internship is not challenging..

Internship ending in 4 weeks. I don't know to mourn or be festive but I hope I leave with positive traces in other people's hearts. I want to be remembered for being the one who brings colour to the life of those hardworking people. I feel that I'm a burden to my SV sometimes, but I don't think that's my fault. ngeheheh.

Best part of all is that I get to enjoy living and working at my hometown, a first taste of settling down. I love it very much. I've made good friends along the way too, so my social network is bigger than ever. I started with 0 friends but now many people recognize my face. Hehehe. Since I don't want to be anymore popular, when I go to work I always try to take the lesser known route so I won't be seen by many. Hahahah.. ultimately perasan! I'm weird.

It's cold these days, so get yourself warm and make sure to get a lot of rests!
