Sæglópur

If you've been tired at work, or just generally tired from the pressures around you, take a moment to breathe and re-arrange your thoughts once in a while in a quiet atmosphere. While work is important, don't forget to eat healthy food and have enough sleep.. it is very important to maintain health. I realized that I haven't been taking care of my food consumptions and been sleeping late.. my immune system is definitely a lot weaker by that. Hope I don't fall sick.

I'm back at the base office until the rest of my internship period, so life's quite relaxing even though there are tonnes to do.. It's actually more tiring sitting in the office than going out to do site works! But the office is very cold and not a good place to stay for long. Everyone's so busy doing their own stuff that sometimes I feel like taking a good nap hiding in my own cube while my fingers pretend to type something on the computer. At least, my boss can hear the sound of my fingers 'working'.. Hehe. I have a lovely empty cube at a lovely spot now, with extra privacy.

The music is a remix for one of my favourite songs from the band, Sigur Ros. 'Sæglópur' means 'lost at sea' in Icelandic. Listen to the original to capture the real beauty of the song. I've always loved hearing it when I need to focus or just feel like relaxing listening to my post-rock favs from time to time. Sometimes when I'm down and out, I don't like to hear too many words.. I just want to listen to something soothing without having to process anything. Sometimes I need a space to hear myself out too..

Oh how I long to have a really nice vacation, me and only me with my echoing thoughts, swimming freely in the sea... (but I don't know how to swim!)
