Series Of Tragedies

I haven't been getting proper Internet for 3-4 days now. My internet life now only depends on WiFi but then it's extremely unreliable.

You know, being rejected by a company when you're applying a job is really like going through a breakup. You start wondering if you're a victim of unrequited love and whether you're not good enough for anything. It's painful to hear that you don't make the cut because you don't have anything special about you. But then companies don't usually say that you suck, instead they say something about unavailable positions, economic crisis, unsuitable with field of study etc etc. I think if not for the formality and protocols, they'd just write you a letter with a huge L in the middle. Everything else is just bullshit.

Yesterday I was to present a class project for Signal Processing. We were given about 3-4 months for it, but then for my group it was a 2-days project. So as you can guess, it was a mess; but my lab partner said I did a good job during the presentation because it was smooth.. AS IF I know everything by heart. HahahaHahahaHAHahahaHAHaaa

85% of what I said were probably not true, probably just me playing with words to manipulate the 15% facts I know about the project and just to cover my stuttering lab partner. When we were about to finish, Dr. Varun the lecturer said "You guess a lot." You're right sir, I gave you a lot of bullshit too.

My team project presentation sucked. Thankfully, my stutterings was minimal and I was in complete control of my speech. I was so nervous for the first 60 seconds that my voice was so shaky, I myself could hear it. The introduction and the conclusion was really bad that if I were the evaluator I'd give it a D+. The night before, a teammate defended that doing last minute work is no harm because it'll turn out good in the end. All hail, the presentation on the day next was a complete disaster, a result of last minute work. Padan muka. Padan muka aku juak lah hoh..

Take care of yourselves, dear readers.. read up on swine flu if you haven't heard!
