The fact that I still buy CDs and EPs makes me soooo uncool in the context of current Malaysian general attitude towards music and arts. I mean, I can just download things off the net at my national-standard 75.2kb/s broadband internet, right?
Musicians (local, especially) should take harder efforts to find a way to reach the fans and distribute their music as well as transform the society, into a fun-loving music-buying general population. It's rather humourous to hear people buy iPods just so they can be 1% cooler and be fitted into the white fever. Rest assured, that if you buy an iPod and buy music to listen on your iPod, you'd be 10% cooler..!
I still believe in buying music. Especially local indie talents.. And you, should too. I know I won't trade that which holds pure for nothing else.
ps. This is an acoustic indie/folk/jazz album by Bo aka. Amir Iqram under the pseudo name Bedroom Sanctuary. Go get it!
wow! thanks nadia! but i'm trying my best to put it out there. it's just that my album is not mainstream enough. hehe! which what i like! thanks for watching out for local stuff!
