Panic! In The Fire

Last night was the most panic I've ever felt living in this house. Our house is a semi-detached house and last night at about 7.30pm a house one door away from ours caught fire. There was a power overload at one of the electrical sockets which lead to ignitions. The affected house is on a rubble now, nothing valuable is left.

Thankfully, my family is safe and so is our home. The whole family was downstairs watching tv at the time, except my sister. The sister was the one who heard the other neighbours cry for help, so she hurriedly went downstairs to inform us. I got out of the house with bare foot, trying to bring my very old grandma to stay outside first. Oh my.. what a hard job to keep her calm!

So with all the panic, dad, mum, sis and bro quickly grab all important things, including our certs (hehe). By the time I went into the house again after fetching my grandma, my dad had turned off the power supply. So it was dark and I couldn't see anything. The fire spread very fast and it was really big too but it was still a door away from our house. Since my laptop was in the living room, I quickly grab everything without pulling the plug of the AC adapter from the socket. I snatched everything away and threw it in the car before coming to my grandma again, who was in the arms of the other neighbours. Bro and dad drove the cars to safety.

And so that was the first experience ever for me to be so close to a huge fire that involves my own safety. Even though I put the laptop to safety, my external harddisk fell on the floor while I was running out of the house. I forgot to unplug the thing after I use it.. heheh. Even though it fell with such a big impact, it still works. But the problem is, my laptop now is making cute beeping sounds...

No worries! Nenek aku pun okay.. dah di antar ke kampung nun. Macam orang nak leput ada juak nenek ku malam tadik.. lelah ku bertahan ngan nya. Rumah Nadhirah sebelah ya kenak sikit. Banyak spectators koh.. Lorong ke rumah alu femes tegal benda tok. Pak aji ngajar aku driving ya pun ada juak ngabas tek. Orang tua ya nang always alert segala hal urang bah.. ney ndak hehe. Dah, malas ku nak berambik gambar. Sikda mood nak ngambar benda jaik gitok eh. Aku yang lamak sik bertemu ngan kwn2 lamak ku tiba2 bertemu agik malam tek.. dah sik kenal ku muka sidak ya. Hadoi.. nasib sidak bait numpang rumah pakei nenek ku dudok. Mun sik tek lelah ku berkukut ngembak nenek ku yang dah lemah palaktut tengah jeraya lam ujan gik ya..

So my advice to you all, never underestimate electrical and fire safety. Pay attention when you're in HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) class even though it may look boring. Personally I regret it that I didn't study enough for HSE because I can't even remember how to put out certain types of fire. Aih.. ada lecturer ku ngajar tapi aku plentey!
