Let There Be Silence

Gong xi fa chai! Okay, we move from the sad mood from the previous entry to a normal one lah okeh. So far no more weird things happening since Stranger Lady.

Four days and poof! They're gone so fast, just like that. The campus has been eerily quiet because of the outflow of people for the brief break. I love it when the campus is peaceful like this actually. One of the greater things about this place is the peaceful environment but I extremely dread it when there's so many people in it. The noise, the heat, the pressure makes my head all cranked up. The internet gets extremely unreliable when everyone starts to go online at the same time.

My close friends and I gathered together to 'celebrate' Chinese New Year on Sunday night. Actually, we wanted to give a belated birthday bash for my roommate and Irene. It's nice to talk and just enjoy being in company with my hommies. We talked a lot about home.. which indicates how much we really miss it though it has only been a week. I felt the celebratory mood of Chinese New Year all along. Maybe CNY really is an occasion I should celebrate officially. Heheh.

The past few days, I've been pulling my hair out thinking about a suitable idea for an engineering team project we're working on this sem. I've pitched some ideas during our brainstorm last Thursday, but it did not really get much enthusiasm by Dr. Shamsul, our SV. He's got lotssss of ideas, some crazy (but interesting) ones; so we're put into another trouble of choosing. We need to get a project that can be prototyped in about 2 months, low-cost and caters to the group's skills.

I'm so tired already.. but I've got a meeting with my team later at 10.30pm. Even though I don't have an early class tomorrow, I hate losing sleep! So I hope the meeting will not take long.

Have a good week everyone!
