Finding Resolutions

For 2009, I think I'm gonna set some goals. My life hasn't been fulfilling because I don't specifically keep lists of the things I need to do in a year, a week or within days even. Well except for assignment deadlines lah. I'm talking about things that I myself set, some path to follow in the dark.

Actually, I've been meaning to make some kind of resolution for the new years but I never achieve anything significant, really. Hidup aku cincai, ikut flow. I think I want to try making things organized, really keep a to-do list, keep an organizer or something like that. I wonder what it's like to live within rules and tight disciplines?

I tried doing that in the past years. I keep organizers, I paste my to-do lists on my sticky notes but I'm not disciplined enough to really follow anything religiously. The organizer and the sticky notes only lasted maximum 2 months, leaving empty pages for the rest of the year. I'm sooo degil you know? And so malas too. People seem to get the wrong image of me all the time. They see me as someone skema, ikut rules, lurus bendul. Honestly, I don't like breaking rules because that's not what educated people do and I kind of like being straightened because naturally I'm an attention-deficit, independent soul who's always thirsty for new things.

I'm still looking for resolutions. I really have nothing in mind for the moment. Nada, zero. I seem to think about things that are impossible, which makes it clearer that maybe I'm not the kind of person who needs resolutions. When will I grow up and stop dreaming? Hehehe.

For today, I just want to say : Alhamdulillah.. may the good things continue to come. :)
