Apparently the interviewers were very impressed with my introductory speech. That's because I scripted it and I wrote it like I write poems. Glad that I executed 2/3 of the 'bombs' I have set in the speech. Regretted that I didn't execute the third one.
Even though I got good feedback from my interviewers with regards to my way of presenting myself yada yada, I still wanted to know which areas that I lacked during my interview session yesterday.
She said "I think if you're going to another company's interview you should know the company inside out, not just the name and what they do, but the industries related to them."
Ding! at least there was a feedback I could hold on to. I must admit it, I didn't really do much research on them because I thought I knew. I wasn't that ready either, so I only had my natural skills to back me up yesterday.
She must have said that because I seem to be in an outer space when they started using oil and gas terms while inquiring my work preference in the company. They suggested "Crude Oil Terminal" and I just silently nodded with a silly grin. That's because I don't know what people really do there and most importantly, no idea where I should fit in in the industry so there wasn't any point to start suggesting other things my own.
I'm not confident that I'll pass the interview,... but all is well. Moving on!
