Holy week story

I have so many things to do nowadays. Strangely there is no heavy schedule planned for the coming week.. heheh. Quite happy. Since it's the Holy Week for my Christian friends, coincidentally I feel a bit spiritual in my own way too. It's been tiring and uninspiring already.. I got really bad marks for one of my test despite working hard for it. It brought my morale down by a fraction of hundreds. Disappointed.. I give up!

The week has taught me to be small. I'm thinking that I should share whatever I got with as many people as I can, give more to charity. I think it's a way for us to be thankful of what the Higher Being gave us. That is, to never be afraid losing our materialistic things when we can always be positive in life by putting everything we do for others on the basis of charity. I think God would like that. And also, strangely, Puan Khalida my Corporate Ethics lecturer reminds me of an ustazah and all the other tok gurus (religious teachers) who taught me while growing up.. haha! It doesn't feel right not attending her lecture and I feel obliged to observe ethics in whatever I do. May Allah bless Puan Khalida for instilling ethical well-being in me on top of what my family have taught me.

I have very cool housemates ^^. Despite we are of different race and religions, I really like it that we always remind each other for being good and thankful. Holy Week lah katakan.. All is well. Haha! I was so worried that a couple of friends would skip going to church today because of me. Though I don't know how significant going to church for them, I think they should go if they really have to.. otherwise I'd feel guilty on behalf of them. They said nothing will happen, but it'd be like me skipping my solat. Aduh. Complicated. :D

We wanted to visit Taiping yesterday, but due to time constraint it got cancelled and detour to town instead. And if you know the town I'm referring to, there isn't much to do there when all the cinemas are fully booked. We had to pay one-day fee for the car we rented when we only used it for half a day. I don't have much problem, but my friends are broke and the allowances will only be in for another 3 weeks. All we can do is just to laugh it all off.. serves us right! hahaha. We lose about RM40 for that, but I believe time is more precious than money these days. With the rest of the 12 hours, we can do a lot of productive things pertaining to academic stuff. I think it's really funny and hypocritical though, because I'm not really doing anything productive now. But then, the time you enjoy wasting is never really wasted time right? I want to explore the world with my friends.. it's about time! :P

ps. WE WON BEST HOUSE FOR THE RESIDENTIAL AWARDS! (we have ZERO intention to win and ZERO effort at decorating & tidying up the house) hahahaha
