Day one

I never really put this on exposure, but I'm still skeptical on how coincidences are linked to the term 'fate' or 'destiny'. What if everything is a consequence instead of coincidence? What if life is just a series of things that we made out of our everyday decisions. Nothing is sent down from the sky out of the blue, it is merely something that sprouts from what you have done in the past.

If you believe it so, then you have no one to blame but yourself if anything goes wrong. To define fate is to create escapisms from reality. These escapisms, often lead to the process of 'accepting reality' which helps emotional destructions to be less painful, giving us hope to move on. It is a sin to kill thyself, so rather than 'killing' yourself by putting blames your way, might as well just believe that fate plays a pretty big role in our life. Can you see how weak humans are, that we always find escapism when we are dragged in harsh reality? (I'm still more on the consequence thing though.)

Anyway, these thoughts actually came in after watching (500) Days Of Summer. Glad it's not a love story. There were a lot of hype about it, so I thought I'd check it out. The movie is not usual, somehow not up to my expectations but it is quite good nonetheless. Zooey Deschanel is suuuuper gorgeous and her husband's music is awesome.
