Guess what, it's another long weekend because it's a public holiday on Monday for Thaipusam. Nice huh? As nice as holiday sounds to anybody, the world would still be spinning and deadlines would still be there waiting. Project count : Three.
Two days ago, I found four pieces of RM1 notes lying on the ground on the way to class. Since it was early morning and the temperature was yet to rise, I was cool enough to let it be. Surprisingly, today on the way back from class which was like more than 48 hours already, the notes were still there. Only that it was piled together and weighted with a rock. It rained in the afternoon today, so the notes were soaked but it still looked okay. Since everyone in this campus was too nice to pick them up, today I slipped it into my pocket. Rezeki.
Did I mentioned it rained this afternoon? Yes, and it only rained when I was ready to walk to the supervisor's office for the team's weekly meeting. My roommate and I have three umbrellas in the room, none which we truly own. One is my roommate's boyfriend's, the other is my roommate's classmate's and the third one is my classmate's roommate's. All three are non-foldable. And I don't know why they're in our room. So when the meeting finally took place, I was shivering my guts out while everyone else was talking. I guess I was thinking that I'm too macho to be holding a big umbrella. Padan muka!
Even though the architectural design of this campus is so sophisticated and pretty, it is not the same in terms of practicality. There is a big roof high above my head, but I still get soaked in the rain. The most annoying part is that there were major leaks which made me feel like I wasn't walking under a roof at all. Not only the roofs lack function during the rain, 'tis the same rain or shine. This giant penthouse (as I'd like to call it) is a beauty without brains.
It was a short week because Tuesday was also a public holiday, but it felt like I've been mobile a lot and been using my brain a lot (mostly for the team project!). I can literally feel the lethargy in every inch of my limbs. So.. I need my rest!!
