Who Are You?

My roommate let a stranger lady stay for the night at our room, perhaps until tomorrow. She is a troubled girl, though I'm not very sure what troubles she got herself into. But she came last night with bruises on her arms and face, because a male friend had beaten her up over an argument. Some heroes took her to safety.

It's actually very awkward for me to have a stranger within the perimeter of a place I find comfort the most. I'm surprised to that, actually. I usually get along well with new people. Since she's a complete stranger picked up by my roommate's boyfriend's friends by the side of the road (really, it's true- sik ku bulak!) I find it hard to hold a conversation with her partly because I do not want to be asking things that would offend her. She's in a rubble trouble, I can see. I mean, she doesn't want to come home for some reason. That's got to be something.

I noticed something that I do not know wether I should tell anybody or not.

Anyway, the roommate and I had a talk between us before dinner today about how well should we trust her. I think, in this case, I'm more than willing to help her (of whatever she's going through) but I will be careful as to not make things too vulnerable. You never know what desperation can make of a person. Hehe. Sorry, it's just hard to trust strangers.

To me this stranger lady looks scary even though she's considerably pretty. She's rather a charming person, so no wonder lah the heroes who picked her from the side of the road got attracted to her. Tapi takut dohh nangga muka nya time malam! Kening tebal, muka puteh melepak -- macam watak Maya Karin dalam cerita antu yaa. Erh.

ps. Roomie, iboh sor blog mek ngan nya indah.. am I very shy or is she just too much of a stranger? She's in my extended network!
