Another End Before Another

Good morning, world.

As part of the Ceremony & Protocol team, I had to manage a lot of things for the EE Grand Dinner last night at Heritage Hotel, Ipoh. From the decoration, the performers, the music instruments, the audio management, the general flow of the event, etc etc. The event started at 9pm and I was there from 4pm. There were some hiccups during the preparation of the event due to the lack of MANpower, but I don't know how we made it, but in the end it was okay. I think some of my team are new to this, so it's no surprise they were kind of blurry on what to do. It was tiring, but I'm happy to see people having fun except for the last part when the band played, I saw some unhappy expressions from the VIPs maybe because it was too loud for the children. Oh well, maybe they're being good parents je. We young people mana tau what's good for the kids and all.. because we're kids too. Hehe. Tapi aku suka kids.. sangat comel. Especially anak Dr. Noh malam tadi.. and the way she says "ayah!" (daddy) when she received the lucky draw prize (her dad drew the lot) was sooo adorable.

Ahh.. My 2nd Year 2nd Sem is done at this point. Tinggal final exams je. Even though there had been a lot of misadventures and hiccups, personally and honestly I want to go back and do it again. Now that I'm halfway through my Undergraduate life, I can see now that university life is such a wonderful experience after all. The bad things don't matter any more when you realize the true meaning of it. Aku syukur je aku dapat survive.. tak kisah la aku dapat CGPA berapa pun because honestly, I just want to treasure my youth and learn with an open heart!!

My favourite subject for this semester had to be Analogue Electronics and PCS. Hahaha. Because I learn a lot from those two subjects and the two lecturers are also among my favourite lecturers. The reason I picked those two is that I can learn practically and not just memorize the facts and figures from the books! I had the chance to use my brain, think and improvise. I think you can't measure a person's ability until you see how they truly perform without memorizing anything. The advantages of a person over another lies in the way we arrange things to remember it and also how we manipulate the knowledge that we have by proving it on paper for the world to see, under a time limit. Yes, time makes your brain shrink!

Aku macam suka apa Wani Ardy tulis dekat blog dia pasal arts (31/10/08). Even though I'm nobody in the art field, but I think Engineering is an art too. Honestly, I want to be an Engineer/Writer/Graphic Artist/Programmer/Musician because I feel that I like those things but I'm not destined to have much chances. In conclusion, there are other things that I can be, but God made me study Engineering as a principal field.. macam sticky note tu. Hehe. My dad is so cool because he lets me do all the things I want. He bought my first guitar when I was 13 and it changed my life. I love you dad!!!!
